2. I am blessed that I have ordered over £1000 of computer gear and I'm gonna get it all for just £200 on my DSA

1. I was blessed to find my student maintenance loan in my bank account this morning.
2. I am blessed to be back at college again with an interesting project to get my teeth into.
3. I was blessed to go to Liverpool this afternoon with Suzy and get into the Yves Kline exhibition at the Tate for free. :)

1. I am blessed to have discovered Schoenberg (through Radio 3's Composer of the Week programs). John hated him so we never listened to him (me relying on John's classical music expertise when I was with him) but, actually, I rather like him a lot! It reminds me of Stravinsky - another of my favourite classical composers. It's music that catches the ear but it is NOT easy listening!
2. I am blessed not to be on Facebook any more. I really wonder now how I ever stood it! It's truly horrible!
3. I made myself a lovely tea of nut roast and freshly cooked veg (a rare treat!). :)

1. I was blessed to get my eyebrows threaded this afternoon. They were getting rather untidy but now they're nicely trimmed again.
2. I am blessed to own a nice new pair of walking boots that are comfy. With my feet, that is a small miracle! They were £20 cheaper than my last pair too!
3. I am blessed to have nice relatives who sent me Christmas and birthday cards. As I didn't bother sending them anything, it felt only right to write and thank them today.

1. I am blessed with the Arriva buses app that, for example, allowed me to buy a 'bus ticket' on my mobile when I didn't have any cash on me. With said 'bus ticket', I was able to visit New Brighton, Heswall, and Liverpool today. :)
2. I am blessed that I bought myself a sorter for my Christmas ornaments a couple of years ago. It makes putting the Christmas decs away much simpler - even if it is sad doing so.
3. I was blessed to go see Scouse of the Rising Sun this evening at the Royal Court theatre. It was 2 hours of amiable nonsense and the theatre is fabulous! Liverpool is blessed with some fabulous theatres! :)

1. I was blessed to meet up with Hilary today. She's always good company :)
2. I was blessed to see A Monster Calls at the cinema with Hilary. Although, on the face of it, a kid's film, it's not a kid's film - certainly not little ones! <Spoiler>What it is is probably the best - most accurate - film about grief I have seen! At times I felt almost like they had crawled inside my head and stolen my thoughts and emotions!
3. I was blessed to enjoy a very nice mushroom burger with Hilary after the movie. We also got 50% off vouchers for our next meal! :)

1. I have been blessed by not feeling remotely guilty in having a really lazy day.

2. I am blessed to have received delivery of the CDs I ordered. It's quite incredible that things can be delivered internationally within one day!
3. It was a blessing to discover a recipe for Temple Dal online. I made some for my tea. It was very nice. :)

2nd January 2017

1. I - and lots of others - have been blessed with bright sunshine today. There's little more than sunshine to brighten the spirits! :)
2. I was blessed to enjoy the Yorkshire Sculpture Park today. Overall, I enjoyed the couple miles of walk through the estate (including being a couple of feet under the flightpath of a flock of geese that had taken off from the next field!) more than the sculpture but it was still thoroughly worthwhile. :)
3. I was blessed to stop off at a lovely old pub, with open fire, on the way back where I had a delicious veggie burger for my (late) lunch.

1. I am blessed to be celebrating Mia's 7th birthday with her. She looks very good for her age - not a day over 6!
2. I am blessed to have made it to a new year, although I am fearful of what it will bring. There were times last year when I wanted 2016 to be my last and, yet, here I am.
3. I am blessed to have just watched The Big Short. It's an extremely worrying film but well made and informative. Batten down the hatches!
